1986	December	Toray International was established with a capital of 1.4 billion yen as a wholly owned subsidiary of Toray Industries, Inc.
1988	March	Toray Marketing and Sales (America), Inc. became independent from Toray Industries (America), Inc. and became a new member of the Toray International Group.
	June	Invested in TOYO TEXTILE THAI CO. LTD.
1992	June	Established P.T. Jakarta Triapparel.
	December	Established a representative office in Thailand. Invested in Techno Center Ltd.
1993	January	Stationed representatives in Shanghai jointly with Toray Industries (H.K.) Ltd., in order to grow plastics sales.
1995	April	Established a representative office in Frankfurt.
	November	Established Shanghai Aisen. (The company was dissolved in March 2000.)
1996	December	Took over the former Shirai Jitsugyo’s sling business. Opened the Hiroshima branch. Invested in Cho Ei Limited.
1998	January	Appointed a liaison in Guadalajara, Mexico.
	August	Established Shenzhen Qinhua Chuyun Co., Ltd. (The company was liquidated on September 28, 1999.)
1999	May	Appointed liaisons in Melbourne, Australia jointly with Toray Industries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Moved the Osaka head office to Dojima Avanza Building.
	July	Took over some of Toray Living Co., Ltd.'s lines of business Opened the Sapporo branch.
	August	Stationed representatives in Bangalore jointly with Toray Industries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. in order to grow plastics sales.
	September	Took over part of Kanematsu Corporation's wool business.
	October	Took over some of Kanematsu Plastics Co., Ltd.’s lines of business
2000	April	Started handing financial affairs operations for direct trading operations for Toray Industries, Inc.
	May	Took over part of Kanematsu Corporation's leather business.
	June	Invested in ALIEN TECHNOLOGY. Invested in Chung Chi Leather Co., Ltd.
2001	February	Took over part of Nissho Iwai Corp.'s rawhide and skin business.
2002	November	Established Toray International de Mexico, S.A. de C.V.
2003	April	Merged with Ronze Inc.
2005	October	Established Toray International (Korea), Inc.
2006	June	Established a representative office in Vietnam.
2007	October	Toray Industries, Inc. transferred its International Trading Office functions to Toray International. Three overseas trading companies under Toray Industries, Inc. became subsidiaries of Toray International (and changed their names accordingly). Toray Marketing & Sales (America), Inc. → Toray International America Inc. Toray Industries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. → Toray International Singapore Pte. Ltd. Tong Shing Inc. → Toray International Taipei Inc.
2008	January	Three overseas trading companies under Toray Industries, Inc. became subsidiaries of Toray International (and changed their names accordingly). Toray Deutschland GmbH → Toray International Europe GmbH Toray Europe Ltd. → Toray International U.K. Ltd. Toray Italia S.r.l. → Toray International Italy S.r.l.
	April	Merged with Toray Ireeve Corp. and Toray Fishing Corp.
2009	June	Established T.I. Business Support and Service Co., Ltd. as an affiliate.
2010	October	Toray Alphart Co., Ltd. became an affiliate of Toray International.
2011	March	Established Toray International India Private Limited.
	June	An overseas trading company under Toray Industries, Inc. became a subsidiary of Toray International (and changed its name accordingly). P.T. Toray Trading Indonesia → P.T. Toray International Indonesia
	August	Established a representative office in Bangladesh.
2012	January	An overseas trading company under Toray Industries, Inc. became a subsidiary of Toray International (and changed its name accordingly). Toray Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. → Toray International (China) Co., Ltd.
	August	Established P.T. TI MATSUOKA WINNER INDUSTRY.
	September	Established a representative office in Istanbul.
2013	July	Established a representative office in Myanmar.
2014	April	Established Toray International Trading (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Established Toray International Guangzhou Trading Co., Ltd.
	September	Established Toray International Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
2016	April	Toray International de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., an affiliate of Toray International, established its Guadalajara office.
	November	Toray International Singapore Pte. Ltd. an affiliate of Toray International, established its representative office in Manila.
2017	April	Fishing Products Dept. transferred business to TORAY MONOFILAMENT Co., Ltd.
	May	Established Toray International Vietnam Co., Ltd.
	July	Toray Diplomode, Inc. became an affiliate of Toray International.
2019	April	Toray International India Private Limited, an affiliate of Toray International, established a branch office in Dubai.
	December	Toray International Vietnam Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Toray International, established a representative office in Hanoi.
2021	March	Toray International Vietnam Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Toray International, established a factory in Quang Ngai.
