We work with manufacturers in Japan and overseas as well as trading companies around the world to respond to worldwide demand for films and processed film products with our materials. Furthermore, we leverage our marketing and logistics functions as a trading company and our processing functions centered on the Toray Group Converter Consortium to fulfill customer needs and solve their problems.

In addition to the strengths we possess in terms of Toray materials, our development and marketing capabilities, and our overseas trading network, we will make use of external products and materials held by other divisions within the Company. Through a processed product business that can only be run by Toray International in our capacity as a manufacturer's trading company, we will offer solutions to clients, contribute to society, and promote the transformation of our business into one that is sustainable.

Selling materials and processed film products from outside the Toray Group to meet customer needs
In order to respond to diverse requirements from the market and customers through “materials plus processing,” we are building a new cooperative manufacturing relationship. In addition to the converter companies with whom we have built strong relationships over many years and our existing raw fabric business, this new “converter consortium” well help us to meet customer needs. In addition, we have instituted and are operating a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
With our numerous overseas sites, we are able to offer a variety of proposals and recommendations for commercial distribution
Through our overseas trading network of 16 affiliated foreign companies and 4 representative offices, we are prepared to deliver our products worldwide. In addition, our major sites have dedicated staff members involved in the film business to drive marketing activities to countries around the world.
Responding flexibly to environmentally conscious needs
We offer a range of environmentally friendly film products. In terms of food packaging films, our products include films for retort packaging to extend shelf life and barrier films with enhanced moisture-proofing properties. We are also open to discussing customers’ needs for systems to collect recyclables.

The importance of ventilation is growing. A heat exchanger is a device that saves energy by exchanging heat between air from outdoors and interior exhaust air, reducing heat loss during ventilation. We have developed a product that is coated with a special coating developed as a heat-exchanging sheet, and have released it on the high-end market.
